Girgenti Cruises to Victory

Our hometown Senator John A. Girgenti was reelected last night, without opposition. The Republican party failed to recruit a candidate to challenge Girgenti, nor did any step up to run. His popularity is a tribute to our Senator’s distinguished service, and his commitment to the voters of the 35th District, and throughout the state.

Still, even without an opponent, Senator Girgenti worked hard during the campaign to help the Passaic County Democrats win their races across the board, and to keep the Republican party on the defensive in local
races here in Hawthorne.
